Tucked away at Salacia Waters Cafe & Restaurant in Paradise Point, the relaxed marina setting instantly creates the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. Located at Shop/14 Marina Promenade, Paradise Point QLD 4216, Australia, this waterfront restaurant blends casual dining with comforting food and friendly service, making it a popular local spot for dinner, coffee catch-ups, and takeout meals.
One of the first things that stands out on the menu is the Seafood Chowder. Rich, creamy, and packed with seafood flavor, it feels especially satisfying on cooler evenings near the water. The portion is generous without feeling heavy, and the balance of textures gives the dish a homemade quality that regular diners often appreciate in reviews. It pairs surprisingly well with one of the venue’s smooth Cappuccinos, which has become a highlight for many guests looking for great coffee in Paradise Point.
The Marinara Pasta is another standout dish that suits the waterfront location perfectly. The seafood is fresh and the sauce is full of flavor without overpowering the pasta itself. It’s the kind of dinner option that feels comforting yet refined at the same time. Meanwhile, the Chicken Hamburger with Fries offers something more casual from the menu, but it still arrives well-presented and satisfying. The fries are crisp, the chicken is tender, and the serving size works well for anyone stopping in after a day around the marina.
Another pleasant surprise is the Dumplings, which add variety to the restaurant’s selection. They fit naturally into the relaxed dining experience and are ideal for sharing over drinks. Speaking of drinks, the availability of alcohol makes the venue feel equally suited for laid-back dinners and casual evening gatherings with friends.
What makes Salacia Waters Cafe & Restaurant feel memorable is the balance between comfort and location. The marina promenade setting gives the restaurant a calm coastal energy, while the service keeps things approachable and welcoming. Whether dining in for dinner, grabbing takeout, or simply stopping by for coffee and a quick meal, the experience feels consistent and genuine.
Among Paradise Point dining locations, this restaurant manages to create an atmosphere that feels easygoing without sacrificing quality. The combination of seafood dishes, hearty favorites, waterfront surroundings, and attentive service gives guests plenty of reasons to return and leave positive reviews after each visit.

Had lunch with a beautiful view of the water. Food was great, we both had the salmon & avocado salad which was generous, fresh and well presented and cooked. The chips were great too. Pity some of the breakfast options aren’t available all day.
We had lunch here today and everything was absolutely spectacular. The food was full of flavour and beautifully prepared, and the service was nothing short of superb. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t be happier with our visit — highly recommended.
Love this local business. Always friendly staff. Food freshly made. Great coffee. The only small thing that spoils it is the dog owners won’t stick to the dog area.
The Lamb linguini has to be the second best linguini I've ever had. Full of flavour but perfectly balanced. And even though it's a cheap local version, the outback jack Shiraz paired exceptionally well with it. Compliments to the chef! We'll be back
The staff are very accommodating and friendly always making sure our order is correct. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with great views Salacia Waters Cafe is the place to be
Enjoyed a lunch here on a Sunday in November 2025. Wonderful location overlooking the water. Prices pretty reasonable too considering the area of fancy houses. The menu has a good selection of food and drinks, my chicken burger was tasty. Staff were helpful too.
Amazing service and food, top quality steaks and somewhere we regularly attend, beautiful view and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend
The team had a few problems due to sickness with their chef, which meant some dishes were not available…however, the service was friendly and all of them tried hard to make us feel welcome and it was appreciated…a great scenic spot for breakfast
